Each month, the spotlight falls on two local merchants with a “Hot Spot” designation.  While main Second Saturday activities take place from 4-8pm, Old Town celebrates throughout the day! 

April "Hot Spot” –

Uptown Interiors, 111D Main Street – Exciting new thing are happening in 2013 at Uptown.  You SPOKE and we listened.  You missed our unique furniture and home decor so we are bringing it back!  You wanted to see those great lamps and picture frames we were known for?  YOU GOT IT!  And don't worry because our adorable dresses, tops, jewelry and accessories are not going anywhere.  Our spring and summer apparel is the best we have seen.

April “Hot Spot” –   Bay St. Louis Little Theatre - Will be set up on Main Street selling Season's Tickets during Second Saturday, with live music by "Ten North Frederick!"  This group recently won a prestigious Governor's Award for the Arts, so stop by and congratulate them! 

200 North Beach Restaurant, 200 North Beach Blvd.  - At this beachfront restaurant – with the Hurricane Hunter Bar - diners have the bonus of enjoying their meal with an unbeatable view. Selections range from sandwiches to steaks, crab cakes, five oyster selections, homemade gumbo with okra, and homemade potato chips that have been called addictive.

America’s Vacation Center, 131 Main Street -
America's Vacation Center is thrilled to welcome three new ships to New Orleans later this year from Carnival, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean.  We are offering many specials that make it even easier for you to take that cruise vacation you have been dreaming about!

Century Hall, 112 South Second St. -
Visit three new shops inside Century Hall, handmade home decor by "Beulah Baubles", discounted and off season linen and casual wear by Bea Connick at "Leftovers", and fine antique furnishings by "Charbonnet and Charbonnet".

Charlotte’s Hair Salon and Gifts, 203-B N. Second Street -  Brand new line of Sylvia Corban designed décor and dining accessories.   Refreshments.

Clay Creations,   220 Main Street -  Artist Jenise McCardell has been fashioning small ceramic sculptures of regional homes, schools and churches along the Gulf Coast since 1980. The business has become a family affair through the years.  The showroom – combined with the studio – displays over 1000 different designs.


Cypress Cafe, 300 South Second Street - This cozy cafe is located inside the recently restored historic City Hall, just steps from Main Street.  Open for breakfast on Second Saturday, starting at 10am!   

Depot Duck - 142 Blaize Ave (Depot District) – Old Town’s only Liquor & Wine store. Kick off Second Saturday at Depot Duck Happy Hour: 1-3pm with 5% off everything in the store including mini’s, splits and  ready-mix cocktails. 228 463-0236.

Gallery 220, 220 Main Street -  Featured artist is Joanna Nygard Slay. A native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Slay will be exhibiting her art in conjunction with National Recycling Month. The artist is committed to efforts to reduce our footprints on the planet, and creates her work from broken dishes, furniture and other discarded items found in thrift stores and roadsides.
