This iconic business has become a beloved fixture in the Gulf Coast dining scene. With its laidback atmosphere, family-friendly ambiance, and a menu that boasts a delectable fusion of island flavors and Southern comfort, The Blind Tiger is an experience like no other.

​Owner, Thomas Genin, sought inspiration in his travels through the Bahamas and the Caribbean, where he fell in love with casual bars, open-air settings, and the delicious food served in off-the-beaten-path places. This passion culminated in the birth of The Blind Tiger, a restaurant that brings the island experience to you, no plane tickets required. 

The small bar with an island vibe that transports patrons to far-off tropical locales was an instant hit which quickly led to an expansion of both on the north and south sides of the restaurant to accommodate the local patrons. As a family-friendly establishment, it’s not just the adults who revel in the laid back environment and mouth watering cuisine. Parents can relax on the patio while enjoying live music, savoring great food, and sipping on handcrafted cocktails. Meanwhile, kids can embark on a treasure hunt in the sandbox—a delightful distraction that keeps the whole family entertained.

The Blind Tiger regularly spoils its guests with a delightful array of weekly specials, including a rejuvenating Happy Hour available from Monday to Thursday, between 4-6 pm, offering enticing drink specials that are the perfect remedy for unwinding after a long day. On Taco Tuesdays, patrons can savor $3 beef or chicken tacos or indulge in shrimp or Mahi tacos, all for just $9.99. Thursdays bring a regal treat with TBT’s Royal Reds special, priced at a mere $15. As the weekend approaches, The Blind Tiger’s menu opens up to Snow Crab clusters, tantalizing chargrilled oysters, and a rotating selection of daily specials and amazing drinks.
