About Alice Moseley Folk Art & Antique Museum

Located on the second floor of the historic L & N Train Depot, you will find the beloved Alice Moseley Folk Art & Antique Museum.

The museum is dedicated to the iconic Mississippi folk artist and humorist Alice Moseley. With over 80 works by Alice Moseley, the museum also houses large collections of vintage bottles, Majolica vases, depression glass, and antique everyday objects and has no admission charge. Alice Moseley wanted the museum to be open to all people regardless of income or social status.

Beyond the museum’s dedication to increasing public awareness of the art and life of folk artist Alice Moseley, it is also dedicated to promoting tourism and the arts, and doing charitable good works in the state of Mississippi.
