M.A.P.- Music, Art & Practicality is one such gem in Hancock County, MS. Serving as a testament to the transformative power of the arts, M.A.P. has been providing no-cost, high-quality opportunities for children to immerse themselves in the arts since 2009.
Serving as a creative haven, M.A.P. broadens the horizons of children with theater, dance, musical performances, visual art classes, and even practical life skills such as sewing, cooking, and building. The non-profit believes strongly in the power of the arts to foster imagination, respect, self-awareness, and an array of essential social and practical skills. M.A.P.'s annual schedule is punctuated with vibrant events such as the 'Reach for the Stars' children's talent show in spring, a summer theater production at the Hancock Performing Arts Center, a heartwarming Christmas play.
